I'm in Salt Lake City for Stampin' Up! Convention 2010

Salt Lake City is as beautiful as ever. Hot too!!! I went to my first LateNightStamper Pre-Convention event today!! I was at the stamp camp from 8am-1pm. What a great bunch of projects. I won't post photos today so I don't ruin it for the one's going tomorrow. However, stay tuned to this channel for more info!!!!!!!!

Stampin' Up! Convention

I'm here in Salt Lake City, a few days before Convention starts. I am staying at one of our timeshares, and have already met another SU Demonstrator here at the Kimball. I am signed up for a couple of the Pre-Convention events being held by the Late Night Stampers. Can't wait!! Should be TONS of FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HUGE Announcement!!!

Yesterday, Shelli (CEO and Co-Founder of Stampin Up!) announced that Stampin' Up has partnered with SIZZIX!!!!! Starting September 2nd the SU version of the BIG SHOT will be available from Stampin' Up! There will also be Stampin' Up exclusive dies that coordinate with NEW Stampin Up stamp sets! Here are a few sneeks!!

Stampin' Up Convention was such a BLAST!!!

There were a few FANTASTIC announcements in the last week!! A few days before convention, Shelli announced that starting sometime this fall, online ordering will be available from my Demonstrator Business WebSite (DBWS)!! That means you can shop directly any time of day or night!!

First announcement at convention was that also this fall, Decor Elements will introduce phase 2. This will add more color options and more designs. Here are just a few sneek peeks!!!

Safe and sound in Salt Lake City

Well, I made it! After a couple hard landings and a tired butt, I'm here in Salt Lake City! Tomorrow is check-in day for Convention and will receive my NEW CATTY!!!!!! Can't wait! Will try and report more tomorrow evening. I am also taking a tour of the Riverton Utah Stampin' Up! facilities tomorrow afternoon. I've heard from others that have gone in the past, that it's worth the time to go. Should be able to take some pics of that too. Will chat more tomorrow!!

I will be heading off to Convention!!!

I am just so darned excited! I am headed off to Convention in Salt Lake City on Tuesday!! This will be my third one. I have gone each year since coming back from Okinawa. I had signed up as a demo while my husband was stationed at Kadena Air Base Okinawa. He was Navy though not Air Force. We came back in late June 2006 after he retired. I had told him earlier in the year I wanted to go to Convention. He went with the first year, not as a supporting demo, but he went sightseeing while I was at convention. Last year convention was in Denver! I stayed with some great friends that live in Littleton CO right by the metro train. I hadn't been able to spend time with them in a very long time so not only did I get convention but I got great time with old friends! This year Convention is back in SLC. I will be going solo this time but have a roommate lined up so it should be lots of fun. I will hopefully be able to keep you informed on whats happening while I'm there. Although I can't spill ALL the beans now can I???? Keep your eyes peeled though!!!! Chat in a few days!!!
